50 years of experience in outstanding electrical technology

Under the name GoldStar, the present company LG Electronics Inc. was founded in 1958. The subsidiary of the LG Group manufactured large electrical appliances for the household in addition to radio and television sets. After a merger with the chemical company Lucky Chemical, the company was renamed Lucky-Goldstar in 1995. Today, LG (formerly Life's-Good) is an internationally known brand under which electronics, chemical products and telecommunications products are manufactured. LG Electronics produces, among other things, PV equipment for private individuals and companies.

The product range in the photovoltaic sector includes:

  • Solar modules: Mono and bifacial modules with outputs in the range 335 Wp to 400 Wp
  • Solar storage tanks of various sizes
  • Complete solutions for homes

The company stands out from competitors with a longer warranty period of 25 years and several awards. In the TÃœV Flash data test, the solar modules produced on average 1.5 % more power than stated. In 2015, the company won the "Intersolar Award". In 2018, the solar modules were awarded the "Top Brand PV Seal" by the international market research and consulting company EuPD Research.
