The flexible PV roof integration system

TRI-ROOF+ offers unlimited freedom in the selection of modules: The mounting system is suitable for all common module types of all module manufacturers. The simple insertion system was designed so that it can be used independently of the module manufacturer. This means that framed standard modules can be integrated into the roof.

The roof integration system TRI-ROOF+ completely or partially replaces the existing roof. The PV modules drain most of the rainwater directly. The remaining water collects in the specially developed water-bearing support profiles, through which it is drained away. This ensures that the roof remains impermeable to water. All components of the mounting system TRI-ROOF+ are statically tested and optimally designed for wind and snow loads. This means that your customers' new solar roof will remain stable even in extreme weather conditions. The mounting system is supplied as a complete set. In combination with black anodised insertion profiles and black modules, every roof is given an aesthetically sophisticated PV installation.

The roof integration system TRI-ROOF+ is mounted directly on the roof battens. Rainwater is safely drained away via the innovative water drainage system.

The SafeClick elements are screwed onto the IP in-roof profile at the specified distance. The insert profile is then clicked into the SafeClick.

The insertion profiles are thus connected to the roof in a floating manner. Damage to the roof and module caused by thermal expansion is thus avoided.

Mounting system components for an in-roofPV installation

The in-roof mounting system TRI-ROOF + is the perfect basis for a safe, solid and watertight installation of PV systems directly in the roof. The innovative water drainage system ensures a safe drainage of rainwater and the homogeneous surface impresses with its unbeatable appearance, especially when using black components. The insertion system offers the advantage that the PV modules are easily inserted into the insertion profiles and are securely placed due to their own weight. Additional fastening of the modules is no longer necessary.

  • TRI-ROOF+ horizontal profile TR-H

    Horizontal profile for water absorption under the module joint, which drains the water into the vertical IP profile.

  • TRI-ROOF+ in-roof profile IP

    Vertical mounting profile that collects the water under the module joint and from the TR-H profile and drains it underneath the system onto the tiles or directly into the gutter.

  • TRI-STAND SafeClick-Torx:

    The innovative SafeClick system allows the TRI-STAND insert profiles to be fixed to the universal profiles effortlessly and quickly. The SafeClick elements are screwed onto the universal profiles at the specified distance, onto which the insert profiles are clicked without further screwing.

  • TRI-STAND Inlay profile:

    Our insertion profiles are available in different sizes and heights to ensure sufficient ventilation of the PV modules. The solar modules can be easily inserted without clamps or further screws and are thus floating, which prevents damage due to thermal expansion.

  • TRI-STAND Profile connector:

    In order to connect the insert profiles effortlessly and securely with each other, we offer appropriate accessories with the TRI-STAND TS-C insert profile connector. Slide the connectors onto the insert profiles and then secure them with grub screws.

FAQs about the TRI-ROOF+ mounting system

An underlay is always recommended, as condensation may form under the module and drip into the roof via installation boxes.
The underlay membrane must be installed in such a way that any water that occurs is drained away unhindered under the module field.
The TR-D spacers are horizontal module shift locks. For TRI-ROOF+ systems, these are screwed in on the left and right before the last module of a row and pushed down to the lower SafeClick. For horizontal assembly, the TR-D spacer must be inserted after every third module, for vertical assembly after every fourth module.
TRI-ROOF+ always requires a horizontal substructure, such as wooden battens, wooden purlins or steel purlins.
The TRI-ROOF+ special adhesive for ridge sheets is applied to the lower UP-I profile as an 8 mm thick line across the entire rail width. The rail piece to be joined is pressed into the adhesive and screwed from above with a flat connector, 2 sliding nuts M10 and 2 hexagon nuts M10 x 25 A2. If this is not possible because there is a SafeClick at the joint, the flat connector can also be connected laterally or at the bottom in the grooves using M10 x 20 A2 hammerhead screws and M10 A2 self-locking nuts. For system depths greater than 12m, the flush-mounted I-connection is pushed together to 5mm, the 8mm adhesive cord is applied and the flat connector is only attached to the lower flush-mounted I-rail in order to minimise the stresses caused by temperature changes. If there is a SafeClick on the UP-I profile for this type of connection, the flat connector is fastened to the underside of the upper UP-I profile.
