Roof hooks for fastening PV systems on tile roofing

With the photovoltaic roof hooks TRI-STAND BASIC and PLUS you can mount solar systems optimally on a tiled roof. The roof hooks are made of hardened aluminium and have several foot holes for maximum flexibility during installation.

Secure hold and flexible positioning

Roof hooks are usually used for solid fastening of PV systems on pitched roofs. Roof hooks serve as a foundation for PV mounting systems for tiled roofs and are to be mounted directly on the roof battens and rafters.

TRITEC has developed two different roof hooks. Both hooks are made of hardened aluminium and have several 2×6 holes in the base plate. This gives you maximum flexibility when mounting on the rafters and roof battens. All TRI-STAND roof hooks are provided with a diagonal hole. This allows base rails to be mounted vertically or horizontally smaller adjustments to the mounting system are easily possible. You can read more details about our roof hooks below. In order to achieve an ideal load distribution on the roof, several roof hooks must be attached. To save you having to make your own calculations, we offer a software solution for planning photovoltaic systems. In the PV software TRI-DESIGN, each system can be planned from A-Z, including the number of roof hooks required.

We currently offer two variants of roof hooks. The TRI-STAND roof hook BASIC is the entry-level product. The TRI-STAND roof hook PLUS offers more flexibility in positioning and mounting.

TRI-STAND Roof hook BASIC

The BASIC version of our roof hook is cost-effective and suitable for many roof coverings of pitched roofs. With 2 x 6 holes, the base plate can be flexibly attached to the existing rafters and roof battens with M8 flat-head screws. The hook itself is inserted by means of a rail system and is thus continuously adjustable horizontally. Once the hook is in the correct position, simply bend the guide rail - so the hook is firmly seated. Due to the diagonal hole on the bracket, the roof hook can be used for both vertical and horizontal rail mounting and offers air for fine adjustment.
Due to its optimal anatomy, the roof hook can be used in a variety of ways, including on roofs with plain tiles. It is also ideal in combination with sheet metal tile replacements, thus eliminating the need to work on the tile. The Basic roof hook is available in two versions: as "Basic Fix" and as "Basic 1-fold variable".

Advantages at a glance:

  • Infinitely adjustable horizontally
  • Six 9 mm holes at the top and six at the bottom

  • Diagonal hole offers additional flexibility

  • Made from hardened aluminium

  • Load capacity up to 140 kg for high snow and wind loads

TRI-STAND Roof hook PLUS

The roof hook PLUS offers all the advantages of our BASIC version: twice six drill holes, infinitely variable horizontal adjustability and the diagonal hole at the top. In addition, the plates into which the hooks are inserted are available in different heights. This means that different roof batten heights can be ideally served. The base plates also have - unlike the BASIC version - two instead of one rail per side. This gives you more flexibility vertically when inserting the hooks.

The guide rail can be bent as soon as the hook is in the correct horizontal and vertical position. Even then, the diagonal hole at the upper end of the hook leaves some space for adjusting the structure. Different base profiles (universal profiles) can be mounted vertically on the roof hooks. For example, our TRI-STAND universal profile UP-L or UP-L+. With the help of the innovative SafeClick system, the TRI-STAND insert profiles can then be mounted crosswise without any further screwing.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Height adjustable and available in up to six heights from 28 to 55 mm
  • Infinitely adjustable horizontally
  • Six 9 mm holes at the top and six at the bottom
  • Made from hardened aluminium

  • Load capacity up to 200 kg for very high snow and wind loads
