Efficient assembly and well-thought-out design

Thanks to smart planning software, a reduced number of components, and pre-assembled, compact parts, TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 can be installed on flat roofs extremely quickly, safely, and easily. Using just one tool, the time-saving installation—which takes about 5 minutes per kWp—is particularly efficient. The many possible installation options, including heavy-duty variants, offer maximum flexibility. The large base plate with permanently bonded nonwoven fabric optimally distributes loads and protects the sensitive roof membrane. The ballasted system eliminates the need for roof penetrations, thereby ensuring a long service life for the roof.

Safe, Sustainable, and Made in Europe

The components for our PV are manufactured in Europe to the highest quality standards—ensuring short supply chains and sustainable production. The components of the TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 flat-roof system have been statically tested and optimized for wind and snow loads to ensure reliability even under extreme weather conditions, and they come with a stability certificate. The heavy-duty version reliably withstands high compressive loads. Integrated tilt joints enable tension-free installation and compatibility with all standard framed PV, including large-format ones. Lightning current withstand capacity and continuous equipotential bonding up to 50 kA guarantee maximum electrical safety. The combination of environmentally friendly materials and proven technology supports green building concepts and contributes to the achievement of climate goals.

FAQs

The TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 flat-roof system is suitable for all standard framed solar modules with a frame thickness of 30–40 mm, including large-format modules. As a general rule, all solar modules must be approved by the manufacturer for use with the mounting system, as not every module is suitable in terms of frame and load-bearing capacity.

With the flat-roof system, modules can be installed horizontally or vertically without restrictions, provided the manufacturer has approved the installation method. For more information, see the TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 installation instructions in the download section.

Yes, lightning current carrying capacity and continuous equipotential bonding up to 50 kA guarantee maximum electrical safety.

TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 is ballasted without penetration using three different ballast options: a ballast bracket, a ballast clip, and/or a ballast tray, which—depending on the option and the design report—are securely ballasted with stones or gravel in accordance with the specifications.

The “crawling effect” describes the millimeter-by-millimeter movement of photovoltaic mounting systems on flat roofs. This is caused by seasonal or daily temperature fluctuations combined with a minimal roof pitch (up to 5%). As the rails expand and contract, many systems “creep” downhill—TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 remains securely in place without the “caterpillar effect” thanks to optimal position locking.

The TRI-FLAT Easyspeed 2.0 flat roof system ensures flexible, tension-free installation thanks to its integrated tilt joints.
