Sustainability over the entire life cycle of the modules is another important factor for JinkoSolar . For example, the company reduced greenhouse gas emissions from module production by 61.7 % in the period from 2013 to 2017. In the same period, electricity consumption per MW produced fell by 32.35 % and water consumption per MW by 42.53 %. Waste water was also reduced by 46.93%. Further reductions in greenhouse emissions and electricity and water consumption are planned.
