70 % regulation

The 70 % regulation is a feed-in regulation in the sense of feed-in management, which is stipulated in the EEG. Among other things, it is intended to prevent grid overload. The regulation states that operators of photovoltaic systems must ensure that the nominal output (see also kilowatt peak) of their system is reduced for feed-in.
However, since the system only very rarely reaches this nominal power, the loss is usually manageable. The more expensive alternative is to install a radio ripple control receiver, with the help of which grid operators can throttle the photovoltaic system remotely if necessary. See also 100 % control.
