Tritec Surface Temperature Sensor Pt1000

The surface temperature sensor PT1000 is an adhesive foil sensor. It was designed for measurements on surfaces and is primarily used for temperature measurements of solar modules.

By installing the surface temperature sensor at the back of a solar module, the module temperature can be measured. The temperature of solar modules is crucial for their output, because the output decreases by 0.43 %/K with increasing temperature. By monitoring the temperature at the solar cells, conclusions can be drawn about the behaviour of the output curve.

The surface temperature sensor (STS) is designed for temperature measurements on surfaces. Installed at the back of a solar module, the STS measures the module‘s temperature. The temperature of the solar modules is crucial for their output which decreases by 0,43 % per Kelvin with increasing temperature (typical value for mono- and polycristalline modules).

Monitoring the module temperature allows conclusions to be drawn about the behaviour of the output curve.

The outside temperature sensor PT1000 is integrated in a weather-proof macrolone housing. Its compact design makes the sensor extremely flexible: it can be installed anywhere. The UV-resistant plastic housing is equipped with a two-core connection cable.

The TRITEC outside temperature sensor Pt1000 measures temperatures ran- ging from -20°C to +150°C. The weatherproof, UV-resistant and splashproof Makrolon housing protects it from external influences. Its compact design makes it flexible to use and means it can be installed in almost any place. The plastic housing comes with a two-conductor connection cable.
