TRITEC connects over 30 MW solar energy to the Swiss power grid
Last year, the Basel-based solar company TRITEC was able to realize with its installation partners, Swiss-wide, solar systems with a total output of over 30 MW.
This is enough to supply about 8,000 households with clean electricity. A record increase for the leading Swiss solar energy pioneer specialized in the production of renewable energy by means of photovoltaic systems for over 25 years.
Largest solar power plants
As general contractors, TRITEC AG Switzerland in Aarberg and TRITEC Project Engineering AG in Allschwil realized, among other projects, the largest solar power plant of Switzerland in 2013: On the roofs of Migros-Verteilbetrieb Neuendorf AG, a solar power plant with over 20,000 modules supplies 5.21 MW of renewable energy. Other major plants were commissioned at Feldschl÷sschen Getrńnke AG in Rheinfelden (2.0 MW) and on the new trade fair structure in Basel (1.2 MW) which was realized by Herzog & de Meuron.

Aside from planning and implementation of large solar power plants, TRITEC realizes the majority of solar systems in Switzerland through a powerful network of qualified installation partners. Especially high-quality system components of established manufacturers and proven proprietary products are used in construction. Joint training sessions and planning services as well as the provision of services ensure that end customers quickly and easily obtain profitable solar systems with reliable yields - end customers being not only home owners and businesses, but also farmers and investors.
Further expansion makes sense
Thanks to the current framework conditions for renewable energies, Switzerland is an important market for the globally operating solar company. At the present time, investments for home owners are especially attractive and sensible in the long run, especially due to the amendments of the Energy Ordinance (Energieverordnung) with its non-recurrent remuneration for small photovoltaic systems of up to 10 kW and its regulation regarding own consumption.
