Energiedienst and TRITEC are pooling their know-how – with joint activities in Switzerland and Germany
The Laufenburg-based Energiedienst Holding AG and the TRITEC Group are establishing a new enterprise. TRITEC AG, with company headquarters in Aarberg (Canton of Bern), will operate in the future in Switzerland and in Germany as a system provider for decentralized generation systems – inter alia, photovoltaic systems, electrical storage devices and heat pumps. This includes consulting, project engineering, planning, implementation, financing as well as service and maintenance of the installed systems. The company's second business pillar will be the wholesale trade of components in that area.
The international business of the TRITEC Group is not affected by this partnership and will be continued as before on the markets outside of Switzerland and Germany.
Energiedienst and TRITEC have come together as two savvy and experienced companies in the energy sector. They excellently complement each other: The regional provider Energiedienst as an experienced operator of renewable energy generating systems, and TRITEC as an innovative project engineering company and developer of PV systems. Their objective is to jointly canvass the decentralized energy production markets in Switzerland and in Germany. Both markets are offering potentials. In Switzerland, the TRITEC Group has a market share of about 10 percent in building PV systems and thus is one of the market leaders.
"With this new establishment, we are following our strategy of developing new business segments in the renewable energies area and investing there", says Martin Steiger, Chairman of the Management Board of Energiedienst Holding AG. "The TRITEC Group is experienced in project engineering and development and in the installation of large photovoltaic systems, and it is, moreover, operating in the wholesale trade of PV components and its own products. We can be jointly successful in the Swiss and German markets. Decentralized generation as well as decentralized consumption are particularly important for the energy turnaround. TRITEC AG will enable us to excellently serve both concepts."
"In the rapidly growing market of renewable energies, it is no longer enough – in the medium term – to «only» sell PV systems. We understand PV as part of a total energy system. Together with Energiedienst, the new TRITEC company will be able to make the necessary investments for goal achievement. At the same time, the new TRITEC AG can profit from the Energiedienst know-how and its existing customer relations network in Germany and Switzerland. Personally, I see this partnership as a clear commitment to reach TRITEC's medium- and long-term objectives for the implementation of sustainable energy supply", explains Giorgio Hefti, founder and CEO of the TRITEC Group.
Energiedienst Holding AG exclusively produces green power. Since 1999, all household customers are supplied with green electricity of the brand NaturEnergie; climate neutral gas has been on offer since 2011. Regional and national customers include about 250,000 private and commercial customers, about 18,000 corporate customers and 44 re-distributing municipal customers. The Group of Energiedienst Holding AG includes Energiedienst AG, ED Netze GmbH, NaturEnergie AG and EnAlpin AG in the Canton of Valais. The new company is developed from parts of the existing TRITEC Group. Energiedienst Holding AG holds 60 percent of the shares of the new TRITEC AG, Giorgio Hefti is holding 40 percent. Tritec AG will take over the trademark rights, distribution channels, know-how, tools as well as new projects and still pending projects in Switzerland and Germany. The currently existing TRITEC companies in Switzerland and Germany will operate under the new name of TRIENERGY. The international business of the TRITEC Group is not affected by this partnership and will be continued as before on the markets outside of Switzerland and Germany.
