End of the inverter shortage
Over the past six to eight weeks, the inverter market has eased noticeably. "The inverter manufacturers have executed their orders and are now able to deliver again," says Tom Schaufler, procurement manager of TRITEC.
The future development of the market is largely dependent on component availability. However, equally significant for the market is the development of the major PV markets, foremost that of Germany, according to Schaufler. "But even if the market would gather speed and the components would become scarce at the same time, we would be well positioned with our inverter brands of Danfoss, Kaco, SMA and the new partners Sunways (available with immediate effect) and Fronius (available from 2011). I do not have any fears for our customers!"
