TRITEC agrees on 600 MW cooperation with Hareon Solar
The leading Swiss solar company TRITEC and Hareon Solar, the well-established Chinese manufacturer of high-quality solar modules, intensify their existing business relations and agree on a joint cooperation for the realization of international solar projects.
Over the next three years, Hareon Solar will supply 600 megawatt PV modules, which TRITEC will be using, jointly with qualified installation partners, for solar power plant projects in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, France, Chile and in the U.S.
TRITEC thus wants to further step up the construction of independent and efficient photovoltaic systems and support its more than 1,500 specialist partners in Switzerland, Europe and overseas as planners or general contractors in the realization of the projects. Moreover, TRITEC will offer its partners financing options for solar power plants within the scope of the agreement between Hareon Solar and TRITEC.
Since May 2014, Hareon Solar is one of the tier 1 PV producers and - with an annual cell capacity of 1.5 GW and a 1 GW module capacity - it is one of the largest wafer, cell and module producers in China.
In 2013, TRITEC realized for Migros the largest solar power plant of Switzerland. Over 20,000 Hareon solar modules with an output of 5.21 MWp (megawatt peak) were installed on the roofs of Migros-Verteilbetrieb Neuendorf AG.
