Football Stadium Wankdorf / Stade de Suisse
On top of the Stade de Suisse Bern Wankdorf the world- wide largest stadium-integrated photovoltaic installation was implemented, commissioned by BKW FMB Energie AG. The installation consists of approximately 8,000 Solar modules covering an area of 12,000 m2. The installation provides an energy yield of 1,134,045 kWh in total. This yield supplies electrical energy for approximately 325 average households per year.
