Radox solar cables – UV-resistant, halogen-free and extremely rugged

Radox solar cables are flexible single-core and multi-core cables specifically suitable for the wiring of solar installations both inside buildings and outside. The cables are extremely rugged, feature an extremely high mechanical resistance and are extremely resistant to heat, low temperature, oil, abrasion, UV, ozone and weathering. These properties guarantee a long service life. All these properties are achieved with small outside diameters thanks to Radox technology and high precision. The cables are easy to process owing to the close manufacturing tolerances. The electron beam-crosslinked material displays absolutely no shrinkage and absolutely no other changes over time. This is of advantage particularly for coating and potting and for fitting connectors. Even at high temperatures, the electron beam-crosslinked material does not melt or flow. Nevertheless, the insulation can be stripped easily from the cables. The fact that the material contains no halogens means that no corrosive or toxic gases are produced and little smoke is generated in the event of a fire. The cable insulation is flame-retardant and can consequently not catch fire of its own accord.
