The innovative connector system

Photovoltaic solar cables and connectors are essential components of solar installations. They ensure the electric connection between the modules and the inverters. They play an important role for the high efficiency and long service life of the installations. The expected long service life, adverse exterior environmental influences and great fluctuations of temperatures and humidity make heavy demands on design, material and manufacture.

Huber+Suhner solar cables and connectors are perfectly matched, have been specifically designed for use in PV installations and have delivered optimal performances for many years.
Lamella contacts – The core of the connectors
Huber+Suhner's Radox solar connectors consist of casing and contact element. The core of the connectors are the lamella contacts made from high-quality copper beryllium. Comparable values cannot be achieved in this form without lamella contacts. As flexible elements, these contacts form the mechanical adjustment between plug and socket. The lamella produces a larger contact surface between the elements, thus providing a higher current load capacity with lowest constant contact resistance. All Huber+Suhner solar connectors are compatible for interconnection with each other.
